I need some friend help

So one of my best friends had a friend of hers unexpectedly pass away yesterday and she's not taking it well at all. I've been talking to her a lot and saying that if she ever needs anything that she let me know and that I'm always here for her but I just need some tips on how I can better comfort her because we're in two separate grades and I don't see her at all. Also today I checked up on her when school ended and we talked for a bit and she stopped answering my texts, at the time I didn't think much of it and I texted her like an hour or so later asking if she wanted me to go over to her house some time in the week to comfort her and maybe bring her snacks and stuff and she never answered me so maybe around 3 hours later i texted her again asking if she's ok and as I'm writing this she still has not answered me and that was about 2 hours ago and I'm really worried something happened to her.

ik it's hard but I would say give her some time she will come around when she is ready send a message every so often saying hey just checking in on you no you don't have to answer just want to make sure your okay and whenever you need to talk I'm here

yeah that's what I think I'm just gonna do. after school tomorrow I might text her just to see how she's doing and how her day went but I think I'm just gonna give her some space and then occasionally check up on her
