Hi all,
I thought it might be fun to create a Reading Challenge together and/or participate in it :-)

The challenge is called:

Monthly Prompt Reading Challenge

Here's how it works:

Creation:

(1) Click on 'new topic' and create a prompt for a specific month.

For example:

March 2025—One Word Title

(2) Elaborate the prompt in the first post.

For example:

March 2025—One Word Title
Read a book that has only one word in the title.

(3) Each member can create up to three prompts per year.

(4) If a certain month has started and no prompt has been created for it then I—as the moderator—reserve the right to create a prompt for it even if I have already created my three prompts for the year.

(5) You can create prompts in advance for up to three years.

For example:

With the current year being 2025—If you want then you can create three prompts for 2025, three prompts for 2026, and three prompts for 2027 from now only.

(6) I'll list down the created prompts below. Before you create a new prompt please check the list to avoid repeating a month and/or prompt.

(7) You can repeat a prompt after three years if you like.

For example:

If you or any other member has created a certain prompt in 2025 then you can use it again in 2028 if you want.

Participation:

(8) You can participate in the challenge even if you haven't created any prompt.

(9) Participants can choose any book—regardless of the genre—that matches the prompt and read it during the specified month. You have to read only one book per prompt but you can read more if you want.

(10) You don't have to participate every month. However, please try to participate during at least those months for which you have created the prompts. You just need to join in. If you're unable to read the book by the end of the month then you can let the challenge remain incomplete.

Well, I hope you all enjoy creating this challenge and/or participating in it. I'm looking forward to reading books matching your prompts :-)

If you need any help or have any questions then please feel free to ask in the comments below.

Wish you all the best and Happy Reading :-)
