I'm going to try to fit it in. It sounds fun. Plus it fits the team Sci-Fi prompt Aliens: Starry night-stars on the cover.
It is included in UK Audible, I think I'll join.I also gave a shoutout and created a readalong on TSG

Please let me know if I overstepped. Sorry.

Yes, I was just saying in the mod chat the other day, I love how club members use the buddy read/readalong features of TSG to create their own reads! This club is about reading together, after all.

I have. I'm a little disappointed which I will expand on later in the spoiler thread.
There is no spoiler thread; this is a buddy read. Wow am I programmed.

I'm also @ chapter 10.
I'm a disappointed by the way too obvious exposition. I'm also having a hard time connecting with the MC. His choices are very illogical.
I like the idea of the (view spoiler), and the (view spoiler) he received instead of a (view spoiler) is quite promising.

I'm on chapter 13. I don't really connect with the MC but that's not an issue for me. I think he's meant to be rather strange and alien. I am enjoying the worldbuilding. It's an oddball take on some familiar SF and fantasy ideas.
I finished the book yesterday. The ending (view spoiler) I really enjoyed the book as a whole though, and still want to read the next one. Has anyone else finished? What did you think?
I had to pause reading this one to finish a few challenge books before the month ends. I'll catch up this week.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it. I'm on chapter 16 and still a bit on the fence about it. There are things I like about it and other things that kind of leave me flat. But I plan to finish it. I had a rough and chaotic week last week so I didn't get as much progress on it as I hoped. Returned to it last night and will be continuing today.
