28 nominations means EIGHT VOTES each and here's the playlist:https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...
Before we get started can I just ask a question about the next theme? Does it have to be just the band's/artists's name as the song title, or, can the artists' name be part of a title. As an imaginary example, if the Eagles had a song titled 'Where The Eagles Soar' , would that be OK?

Should someone else nominate a song by a band that had for example a definitive 'The' in the band's name, but the song title didn't have that definitive in it, then it wouldn't qualify. The full name of the band or artist must be inclusive in the song title.
As an example: I was going to nominate a song by an 1980's band Balcony Dogs, as they had a self titled track on their only album....but then i spotted that the song doesn't have the 's' at the end of the band's full name...so it doesn't qualify. Hope that helps! :)

Apologies for the late notice. Another medical emergency involving calling an ambulance and lots of blood. This is my life now with Mr. H very, very ill. We both press on and I find participating in these forums provides me with some light relief. We have a tie for first place and I don't see any point in a countback - T.Rex had more voters, Jimi had more 8s - so as far as I'm concerned it's a tie. Both on 40 points and it's Tim and Duke sharing the podium. In second place is Sj with 34 points for Brian Eno. Third place goes to Jemma with 32 votes for The Rolling Stones.
And once again, the wooden spoons are left to gather dust. I thought this was an excellent theme because it brought up lots of genres, era, etc.

The next FIVE themes are:
Theme 450 - "Self Titled Songs" - Bands/Artists who released a self titled track, i.e. Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden. Covers of other artist's work, performed by a band/artist bearing the same name of the song, are acceptable (see my comment below). - theDuke

Theme 451 - "Keep It In The Family" - songs by bands/duos/collabs that contain blood relations - Helen
Theme 452 - Live dead stop - Any live version of a track which has to have an ending whereas the studio version fades out.- Fishy_Jim
Theme 453 - Easy or hard? Any song with either or both of these words in the title. - Val
Theme 454 - "Hall of Shame" - "stalker" songs e.g. the creepy "always watching you" sort and the "I'll get you and keep you, whatever you want" sort. Reversing the usual idea, so vote for the worst offender. - Isabella
