Hiya, Team Caps! Thanks for volunteering to guide your team through a round of BookShelf Bingo! Your job, should you choose to accept it, will require a few things:
1 ~ Be our go-to person should we have any questions about your team
2 ~ Organize your teammate's weekly reads for each shelf/category so that the BSB Ninjas can quickly and easily verify and approve your stamp request(s)
2a ~ Create a master list in a post (preferably on the first page of your team's thread) and update it weekly or as often as necessary
2b ~ Post your team's stats on the Request to Stamp thread
2c ~ Upon verification, stamp your team's card
2d ~ Share a link to your team's freshly stamped card on the Captain's Log
3 ~ Encourage and motivate your team (you may also ask to borrow Judithe's whip whenever necessary)
4 ~ Post regularly to ensure your team is communicating and on track each week
4a ~ Send them a PM and friendly poke if they haven't posted at least once a week, noted their book choice, and/or appear to have dropped out of webspace

Hey ladies - look at all the M's, lol. One of my favorite team challenges. I'm in CST. I'm not online all that often and was hoping to not captain. Haven't ever captained this before but, should be ok. Just not sure how I will update our Bingo card. I'm not techy at all. So very easy instructions would be helpful, lol!!

I’m current with ID so I won’t be trying to squeeze it into every shelf. I only have the last Jane Yellowrock to read so I can’t make it work each week as well.

There is always an ID re read. Love this series so hard and can't just do the new books. I miss the characters way too much, lol.

Yay! It took me a while to catch up. I think #30 has just been released when I started reading it.

Review:
There was great wisdom in striking the iron while it was hot.
There is never a dull moment at Gertrude Hunt. Sean's mentor, Wilmos has been kidnapped. The inn is tasked with hosting a contest to choose the Sovereign of the Seven Star Dominion's future spouse in order to save him. Of course, chaos ensues.
This is one of my favorite series and I'm not sure why it has taken me so long to get back to it. Dina and Sean are a great couple and fabulous innkeepers. I love all the interesting things that Gertrude Hunt can do to accommodate their guests. This visit, we get to meet a wide variety of species from across the galaxy. It was quite intriguing.
The Costco incident in book one (Clean Sweep) is mentioned several times and we discover the identity of the "Costco lady". What a hoot!
We also learn about Caldenia's crime that caused her to be one of the most wanted creatures in the galaxy. I must say that it made me gain new respect for her.
I alternated between reading and listening to the dramatic adaptation of the book. I enjoyed listening as it helped with the pronunciation of characters, species, and worlds.
This series has well written, strong characters that I have enjoyed watching grow with each book. I realized that I had missed a novella between the last book and this one, so I am reading it now to catch up. I certainly hope that there is another book because the ending gave a path for a new beginning.
Intrigue, betrayal, good action, and a Beast masquerading as a Shih Tzu. What more could you ask for?
I highly recommend this series.

Review:
"I need a man."
Countess Lilliana Arrabella guinevere du Marchette aka Lil has been the proud owner of Dead End Dating for three months. She is just starting to be able to pay her bills and be independent when she is accused of murdering a client.
I read the first book in this series fifteen years ago. I seem to recall that it was cute, but this one fell a bit flat. It could be because it is a little more dated than what I'm used to reading. The premise is good. Lil runs a dating service for supernatural and human clients. It is definitely a niche service.
The best part of the book was trying to find twenty-seven men for the local female werewolf pack to mate with under the lunar eclipse. The murder was almost an oh by the way plot.
I became annoyed early on with Lil every time she mentioned she was a born vampire. The romance is iffy and often annoying as well.
I should have seen who the killer was earlier than I did although I did skim through some of the repetitious dialog.
I didn't look to see if there are more books in the series because I will not be continuing with it.
Actually, more of a 2.5 star read.

Review: Well, I wanted to find a shorter book and one that wouldn't be on audio. I found this on my tbr always nice to knock something off the tbr and had been a freebie. Anyhoo, this was just ok for me. Archangel Gabriel is attempting to increase God's army by helping damned humans (who have their souls in hell) find their Judge on earth and fall in love. When all this aligns the damned get their soul back and become part of the Lord's Army. Gabriel's most recent task is Dominic Wilde who happens to be an escort/prostitute, go go dancer and a vampire. Dominic has lived a hard life but, still manages to be a sweet man. Archangel Gabriel is pretty opinionated and not very tolerant of Dominics proclivities which I found pretty funny since Dominic wasn't asking to be saved. The story was told in short snippets and skipping a lot from present time to the past and then back again. Was a rather chaotic book IMO.

Review:
They came with the storm.
The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse have come to earth to end all humanity. Technology has shut down. Planes fell from the skies and a virus known as the Messianic Fever is wiping out mankind. Sara Burn draws the short straw and remains behind in her town to fight the incoming horseman.
Of course, Pestilence cannot be killed. Sara shoots him and his horse then sets him on fire. She is quite surprised when his walking corpse abducts her the following day. Somewhere along the journey, Sara begins to have feelings for Pestilence.
The premise of the story is good, but it tends to fall a bit flat for me. It took me days to complete it which is not common when I get into a book. I found myself putting it down and picking up something else to read. I had a number of ick moments as I was reading and kept thinking of Stockholm Syndrome the entire book. I did not read any reviews on the book before starting it so I really didn't know much about it except what was in the blurb. It's been sitting on my Kindle forever. I'm not sure that I will continue with the other books.
