Before we start ~ Be thinking about your free space book choice. Take a look at the shelf/categories for this round now so you can get an idea of which books you might wanna read, which qualify and which you'll wanna add to the SOS bookshelves for the round (allowed up until the first shelf announcement is made). Please let me know if you notice any broken links or major typos or any questions you have.
As with R26, captains will be stamping their team's bingo cards again this round.

I’ll play standby if you need me. I’m not sure I understand the game. (I did read some instructions, but must be a bit thick, I guess.). I thought I should watch one played first, so I could get the hang of it, since a team is depending on you.
Okay, I read a lot of instructions, and the FAQs. I’m pretty sure I get it, and I’m super task oriented, so I think this would appeal to me, but I’ll watch closely and make sure I have it down in case you need me to jump in.

Thanks, Victoria!I think it was the instructions on searching for shelves associated with particular books that threw me. Partly, I was a dummy on the app, not the website, so I wasn’t getting it. And, I was thinking of “Shelves” and not correlating that to what GR (at least now) calls “Tags”. Also wasn’t sure how you know what’s on the bingo card, but I see the team lead posts that on their group thread. I think I’ve got it now.
Thanks, y'all, I've added you both as standby players.It's much easier to play than explain, IMO, Zoi. My husband and I had a time trying to come up with the rules and instructions. Makes more sense when you play. I think you'd enjoy it and as Victoria said, there are loads of people who'll help ya out if needed.

✣ Shelf announcements will be made on/around 6pm each Wednesday (EST) ✣

REMINDERS:
➸ Each player must check-in a minimum of once a week following the shelf announcement. Let your teammates know which book you will be reading. We are understanding of RL issues that may arise throughout the game keeping you from posting, however, this is a TEAM challenge. Your teammates depend on you to participate and communicate with them. Your teammates and I thank you in advance!
➸ There is no way to know in advance how long the game will last. This round will be using a 5x5 card. Our last round using a 5x5 card lasted ~ 8 weeks. The shelves are chosen weekly using random.org, so there is always a chance the game could go on for a shorter or longer time period.
➸ If you wish to play, sign up below. Please pay close attention to the sign-up sheet's close date. Once closed, any additional people wishing to join us can be added to the stand-by list. Those players must be willing and able to jump in if/when needed to fill a vacated spot in the game.
