Finished this mast night and I liked it , I thought it was a fun, satirical read with interesting cameos of famous people much the same as in the first 2 books. (view spoiler)[I do hope he can somehow manage to return as a human and not a demon in the next book to thwart Satan since he totally cheated to get him to sign the papers! (hide spoiler)]

I read this last week and agree--it was a nice light read. (view spoiler)[I was kinda glad we didn't get much of either love/lust interest in this one, just a few cameo scenes at key points, and general pining. Flo's disappearance helped Steve sort out his feelings some, though they're still a mess...

I liked the twist--I was expecting Steve to be trapped by a threat to Flo--but I wasn't expecting it all to be a lie/setup. Though when Azazael was introduced I was like "wait, that's just another name for Satan right?" but then I'd thought that about Beelzebub too, so I figured why not? All the names must be different devils. Then it wasn't. And I actually kinda like Beezy.

I like how Steve chewed out Peter at the end. Especially after finding that his damnation had been a coin toss in the last book.

Also curious to see how things will pan out in the future, and what the author's endgame is...? The whole no free will thing is disturbing. (hide spoiler)]

I'll read this tonight/tomorrow... not expecting anything mind-blowing... that's the best mindset to have, I think... light/fun...

I actually thought this was the best of the three we've read so far... most impactful...

The story itself was the usual light fare, but that ending felt like it had substance... (view spoiler)[Minion made the sacrifice to become a demon to protect Flo, and I feel like that's going to have repercussions in the next book...

Satan tricked him, Saint Peter played an unwitting role, and Minion became a demon for selfless reasons... Minion could be the first damned soul to win his way into heaven, maybe... maybe that's why he didn't get pie in the face when he said he loved Flo mid-story... (hide spoiler)]

Ooh, good point about the lack of pie.... And I can totally see the end being that way... and create a precedent for others?
