Lightlark-Just wasn't for me, way too over-hyped, nothing special in my eyes...
The Antidote by Shelley Sackier- NO just no- writing threw me off, felt childish... and missing a lot of detail for me just Nah..
Best:
One Dark Window- was so poetic and well written, so much thought into the characters, and the magic system just bliss- (i need to read Two Twisted Crowns..)
Broken Sky- L.A Weatherly- OMG i have no words for this, the writing is so beautiful, the speech is like they are in the room talking to one another. The whole plot, If you like dystopian set in the past, with Astrology (even if you aren't a fond lover it isn't shoved in your face)- if i could rate the book it would be a 10/10.

Of blood and ether literally nothing happened until the last 50 pages 😂 but the relationship between the 2 characters kept me entertained :))
I would say my best book so far was boys in the riot and the midnight gameMy worst book would probably be rock paper killers
i really enjoyed reading please dont swipe right i thought id solved the case and knew who was the killer to find the biggest twist and didn't even see the killer coming, i couldn't put this book down. I did like how the guilty couple started but the end just ruined it for me.
it pains me to dnf books so i always try to see them through. however, i have a new worst read! guild (the plated prisoner series) is soooo bad. all smut and some back story but no plot. that said, obviously i finished the first three books :o in my defense, SOME thing finally happens in the third book!
Worst: I opened and put down a book today. I rarely dnf, but Of Blood and Aether was sooo bad. Stereotypically cliche MCs, insta-love, more focus on romance than fantasy, cringey conversations between the MCs. The MMC leaves the FMC speechless during their like 5 min convo and he leaves saying “wow she’s not just beautiful, she’s so clever too” like ??? I’m trying to read The Prison Healer rn but it feels too YA and dystopian.
Best: ONE DARK WINDOW & TWO TWISTED CROWNS (Shepherd King Duology) I literally don’t even have the words. If you haven’t read them yet, this is your sign!!! Love the MCs and the plot-driven story. The War of Lost Hearts trilogy is also really good. Very strong plot imo and very strong character development and slow burn!
