For January's edition of Non-Fictive Book Club, we will gather on Saturday 32nd to exchange impressions, ideas and inspiration from Joseph Campbell's seminal book The Hero with a Thousand Faces.

A new year has passed, with its share of adventures, milestones, setbacks and transformations, in the big storyline of our life.

In The Hero with a Thousand Faces, Joseph Campbell draws from a variety of mythologies, religions and fairytales to lay out the Hero's Journey: story arcs shared by all myths and tales across cultures and throughout history — with their archetypal figures and stages, and in which we can all recognize ourselves.

Let's come together and convene around this wonderful book, intertwine our thoughts and insights and discuss myths and legends, as well as how they relate to the stories of our lives.
