David Raz (davidraz) | 12761 comments You are a librarian. Any reason you don't do it yourself? It has no reviews, so superlibrarian intervention is unnecessary.

Helpful hint: Next time, please change the name of the author from Unknown to the correct name.

how do i delete a book ?
As a librarian i can merge editions , but no point merging a duplicate of the same book. How do i delete? i have never seen an option to do that? if you can let me know how - i will do it from now on. Thanks

sure, but i was trying to delete a duplicate, not change the details of the author's name. once the author's name is added and you combine the editions - it's just an extra edition that's an exact duplicate of an existing one..

Dobby (dobby0390) | 7858 comments Before an edition can be merged, it must be combined with the edition it's being merged into. In order to combine two editions, the author names must be identical.

If the edition being deleted has no adds/ratings, you can delete it without changing the author name.

David Raz (davidraz) | 12761 comments An edition which was added by the bot, has only an ASIN, was not shelved and has unknown author, is very often an invalid edition. Setting an edition to invalid does not require merging or changing the author name, just make sure it wasn't shelved and has no ISBN.
