February 2025 - Two by Two

February is the second month of the year. Already. In keeping with that, our February challenge will have the theme of TWO.

Here are your options:

Read a book with:
- Two (or 2) in the title. It must represent the number 2, not something like 200, or 20, or 123.
- It has two authors (think Preston & Child in the Pendergast series.
- If audiobook it has two narrators.
- The story has dual time lines.
- The story has two locations (and only 2) - i.e., set in China and United States. It doesn''t matter about the percentage of each location.
- The story centers around two sisters, or two brothers. Don't mix and match, (eg - The Flower Sisters.

General Rules:

1. The book may be in any format - paperback, ebook, audiobook.
2. The book may be combined with the Year Long Challenge and the Group Themed Read.
3. The book must be started and read between February 1 - 28, 2025 (based on your local time zone).
4. The challenge is for one book. You may read more books if you chose but you need only report one.
5. The book must be 175 pages or more determined by the issue you read.
In the case of ebooks & audiobooks, the ebook edition must be at least 200 pages and the audiobook must be a minimum of 6 hours long.

Reporting:

List your WoF name, link to the book you read and tell us which prompt you chose , and how your book fits the prompt. Also give us a small blurb of what you thought about the book.

I might go with a Christina Lauren. Christina Lauren is the pen name of writing duo Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings combined. I have the audio of The True Love Experiment from the library. It not only has the two authors, but also two narrators.

Or I might go with The Phoenix Crown, which I've also been wanting to read. It believe it has a dual timeline, though only separated by 5 years. Has anyone read this already and can you confirm that it really is a dual timeline? I think it's 1906 with Henry Thornton and then 5 years later after he disappeared.

I think I will go with The Killing Plains. From the book blurb, Two victims. Twenty years apart. One elusive killer.

The dual timeline is what meets the specified prompt, but I like that it also has two victims.

It has two authors and I think will fit the Love theme I need an option for the yearly.

3. The Ledge by Christian White
Dual timelines - seems to have alternating chapters 'Now' and '1999'

Happy accident! Actually, I just realized the book I'm reading right now would fit the challenge too. It's Time's Convert and it's split between the current time period and the civil war. Hmmm.... decisions, decisions.

I think I also have a happy coincidence. I am reading Greek Lessons and I just realized that it has two translators. It also has a dual country split between South Korea and Germany.
