YA with Romance as a subplot. It's about a girl, Violet and her dad who makes perfumes. Spoiler.

There's this book I read when I was 15 . It was about a girl , Violet . Her father used to make perfumes until something happened and he lost his job and she has a sister who was following this gang of delinquents until they were finally sent to prison . Violet, her sister and father did not have a good relationship and it got even worse when their father brought in a new wife . Violet loved her step mom because she always craved the love of a mother but her sister always disrespected and insulted her step mom . Violet always went around selling with her step mom and in turn, she taught her some tricks on how to sell products. After a few years , Violet's step mom realised that she was very unhappy and she had put on alot of weight . Her marriage with Violet's dad had become loveless because they concentrated so much on work and barely had time for themselves. So she told Vi ( Violet's nickname in the novel ) that she was going to leave her father then she left the next day . I don't really remember what happened but at some point, Violet started encouraging her father to start making perfumes again . After trying to convince him for sometime, he finally accepted but he complained about the cost of the ingredients. So Vie started working her ass off to get the ingredients which led her to be r@ped .
