Hi Seth! Would you be interested in reading / swapping for an epic fantasy? If so, please see below info:"Two mystical tribes of priests band together to save their faith and homelands from a profane god that threatens their people.
One snowy day, Ophera of the Stormcallers receives a dire warning that an ancient nefarious cult with a foreign religion has arisen, and encroaches on her tribe’s lands, seeking to…alter the souls of those unfaithful to the Nameless Prophet.
As time is of the essence, the girl is sent on a dire quest to contact the Lifebearers in hopes that both tribes will settle their differences and stand together against the coming menace.
Yet, the other tribe is also facing the decay of the Skytree – an endlessly tall oak – their sanctuary into which they dwell.
To save themselves and earn the favor of their gods, the clans will have to perform vile rituals, suffer sacrilegious acts, summon malevolent shadows and make heinous bargains for power if they hope to gain the might needed to vanquish the unknown god."
Keywords: mystic, gods, shadows, mists, spirituality, ritual, religion, atmospheric
Word Count: 145K (you can read less, of course)
Genre: Epic Mystical Fantasy
For your story, I can offer feedback regarding plot, characters, pacing, worldbuilding, and prose / read flow.

I also have a first novel in a series of seven. It is a fantasy series in a world with human, druids, elves, and even a dragon. At this time I am looking to swap the first two chapters with someone before I send it out to a literary agent. The novel is completely written, but the first two chapters are so important, I want more than just a beta-read. I am looking for a detailed critiquie and would do the same for yours if you are interested. You can email me at mi.cote@northeastern.edu.

I’m open to trading beta reads for most anything, but I’ll be able to give the most helpful feedback on fantasy and science fiction since those are my preferred genres to read. I’d prefer not to read anything that has explicit sexual content.
