✩⁺₊✩☽⋆Kara⋆☾✩⁺₊✩ | 8 comments I am an avid reader, and tend to read from the genres of poetry, suspense and thriller, mystery, and fantasy. I typically read physical copy books only but am always interested in other forms such as PDFs. I spend lots of time working on my writing and find much fun in reviewing the books that I read. I hope I can review some books and enjoy a new read! Please reach out to me if you are interested in my review and I can work out the details with you!

Eoghan Brunkard | 10 comments Hi

I am looking for arc readers on booksprout for my novel "The Grand Couvert".

The blurb's below

One man trying to survive the revolution. One many trying to climb out of the gutter. One cat trying to kill them both…

Edouard Laurent is a young man struggling to survive in a tumultuous Paris during the dying embers of the Revolution. He was a hesitant participant in a chateau burning and has been conscripted to the Republican army. So, when Ivo Armel, a power-hungry official offers the chance of a pardon if Edouard retrieves a mysterious relic, Edouard and a strange team of adventurers set off. Unknown to them, they are being pursued by a small feline, who believes himself to be the Comte of the chateau Edouard helped reduce to ashes.

Will Edouard and his friends unravel the mystery of this relic and its significance to Armel’s revolution? Can the Comte endure terrible wine, worse lovers, and the indignity of repeatedly getting his head stuck in glasses while in pursuit for his vengeance?

A highly comedic, heartwarming and oddly, historically accurate novel by Eoghan Brunkard, author of ‘Clementine Lane’, of the trials of surviving late 18th century Europe.

I am limited to 23 claims, and I would love launch with reviews ready for the Amazon page.

With Thanks

Eoghan

Shakil Somani | 19 comments Hi Kara,

My name's Shakil and I would like to tell you about my Young Adult, Sci-Fi novel - a comedic exploration of the oddities of female behaviour, from the male gaze.

In 'Womansplainer' we travel to a future Canada, where an outcast must become a hero to stop the end of all menkind.

Summary:
Coriatown has no crime or violence and it's always warm and bright. But, when a new danger threatens the peaceful town, they need a hero.

17-year-old Quinn is not a hero. He’s a freak, a loner, the only one of his kind and desperate to belong. He’s neither a fairy nor a vampire, he’s a ginger.

So, when the Babybirds deliver a mutilated baby and Quinn is blamed, he must brave the sharks, the crocs, and the unknown dangers of the Deadlands to find the truth, and that’s the easy part.

To save the town, he must enter a virtual reality world to unravel man's greatest mystery, woman.

But with monsters, gold diggers and insatiable bloodlust, is the game an even greater danger?

Eccentric Professor Shepperton Winstanley, has dedicated his life to helping young men. He’s the world's foremost expert on women, but what's he hiding?

Will Quinn and the sector chiefs be able to find the truth and save Coriatown or will they be womanized?

If you'd like to find out, let me know and I'll send you a link to the ARC (in ePUB/PDF/Mobi format).

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F8NDQ6FN

It's 490 pages, including a handy glossary of female terminology and is due to be released on 15th June. A review would be appreciated, especially close to this time.

Thank you for your consideration.

Shakil Somani | 19 comments Hi Readers,

In just a few weeks, I'll be releasing the first of my brainchildren out into the world. He's a satirical Sci-Fi about teens who play a VR videogame to learn crazy, funny lessons about women.

Blurb:
A genre-blending dystopian sci-fi satire about gender warfare and the search for acceptance.

The post-apocalypse is not what you've heard. Coriatown has no crime, no violence and no women. But it's not a utopia for all. When the Babybirds deliver a mutilated boy and Quinn - the only ginger in town - is blamed, he has no choice but to brave the crocs, the sharks and the perils of the Deadlands to find proof he's not the danger they think he is.

The only hope? A VR game created by the eccentric Professor Shepperton Winstanley, a self-proclaimed woman expert. Quinn must dive into 'Winstanley's World', to solve the puzzles, learn the lessons, fight the monsters and unravel man's greatest mystery, woman.

Womansplainer is a wild, offbeat satire of gender, society and video-games. For fans of Ready Player One and The Hunger Games, with a jolt of dark comedy and VR adventures.

A thrilling and hilarious story of survival, adventure and discovery. Trigger warnings; Mild Profanity, Some sexual language, Moderate violence (in a couple of scenes), Gingers.

Sound Interesting?
