Sci Fi book where a company gives people the ability to rapidly learn languages/ speed read

I think I was exposed to this book on a Tor blog post a few years to a decade ago (2012-2020ish), but I can't guarantee they're the publishers! I can't remember many details, but it was a sci-fi ish thriller where a new company/method (?) had been developed for somehow letting people absorb large amounts of knowledge really fast, like they could speed read really fast/learn languages overnight. Our female protagonist gets involved and tries to figure out what's happening, I think she joins the organization that purports to be able to help people achieve this supernatural level of knowledge. I honestly don't remember much more, I might not have finished the book, but I remember the cover also being moody, with a dark background color and florals/other gothic academia looking items on the cover.
