Lakshmi Kanth love story/erich seagal

Tripti Saini i love reading Indian Fiction like Chetan Bhagat's five point someone....the thing between you and me by sagar is awesome....

Guchu Nathani I think if you still like chetan bhagat ... well... you havnt read enough

Tripti Saini Recommend something.....but stick to Indian Authors and fiction......##

Guchu Nathani read A fine Balance by Rohington Mistry or Glass Palace by amitav ghosh... these are historical fictions though ....

Tripti Saini thanks........##

Masthan raja U can try "immortals of meluha" by amish....mythological fiction

Jishnu Bhattacharya Guchu wrote: "I think if you still like chetan bhagat ... well... you havnt read enough"

come on :) I like FPS, if you've been through this, you will like this too. I've read mistry, ghosh, upamanyu chatterjee and others. And I agree that other Chetan Bhagat books are rubbish. But FPS has its charm!

Guchu Nathani I dont think so .... he was just selling ghost stories about a place people want to go to ... I read it after I was in IIT and found it all frustating

Mridu Bhattacharya I find his another 2 books, ON@C and TML cheap. FPS was still better than these, 2 States was rather good, he is a selling writer, his aim was to become highest selling author, if not highest, he is one among them.

Comparing him with more fine writers like A.Roy, Amish etc. is rather over-comparison.

Manish its a good book and refreshing one

Jishnu Bhattacharya By the way, to answer the original question, you can't read a book here if it is copyrighted. Only the old books are available.

By the way that was asked in 2009. I hope the user would have learned this by now. :)

Cheers!

Jishnu Bhattacharya yeah, hope so

Ankit Jain @Guchu... this topic was raised by Guchu quite some time back but I always find people talking such things rather superficial...

Why ever compare Chetan Bhagat with R Mistry and others. Tomorrow you'll compare him to Tagore or Bankim Chandra. What will happen if you read Gita someday, Rohinton Mistry would cease to be a dignified author in your view. Chetan Bhagat is a "masala" writer and the "masala" named Five Point Someone was bloody good.

i agree with that.....he has a interesting way of narrating the story....

Amith Vikram Some of the best indian authors are rk narayan and vikram seth....

Tripti Saini i read the immortals of meluha....and still cant decide hows it....extreme fictitious to believe....but at the same time interesting enough to carry on!!

Bipin Bhandari I think Durjoy dutta is also doing fine justice with his books.

Vaibhav Sharma is CB the face of indian writing....i dont think so...what about you guys?

Srinivas Vaibhav wrote: "is CB the face of indian writing....i dont think so...what about you guys?"

What Chetan Bhagat writes are more of a light reading stuff and doesn't encompass the complete picture of Indian writing but one thing is for sure that he is making people read like never before, especially the younger generation

Lokesh Chandel Peter wrote: "Can anybody tell me how can i read a book on this site? I'm new here."
just start it from the first page and end it in a single go

Utkarsh Khodke people please suggest me some novels to read. i am new to reading just as i am new to this site. possibly stick to indian fiction like chetan bhagat's fps or some other good author.
thanks
