CJ | 289 comments Hi. I've been away from Goodreads librarianship since the Great Amazon Brokering Event in 23 and just want to check the policies of the things I usually try to fix before I dive back in. Most of the messages in the Group and Librarian Manual seem nearly 12+ months old... so just checking I'll be doing the right thing

1. Notebooks and non-books should have the status set to invalid.
This is based on this: https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...

2. Books imported from Amazon that are obviously wrong, eg. you can see the ISBN so there is already a record in the GR database, but lazy Amazon reseller didn't bother entering it correctly so it only has an ASIN and incorrectly appears as a new GR record
- after vigorous checking of course, should these just have the status set to Invalid, or should they be flagged to the SuperLibrarians to be merged?

Are there any other major changes I should be aware of?

Thanks all.

2. If there are adds by readers you can merge them into an analogous proper record. If there are too many adds, you can post in the Supers folder.

If there are no adds you can mark them invalid or deleted. I believe that even if they are deleted the system maintains the ISBN/ASIN so that it will not be added again.
