YA Dystopian about a society that earns and loses points based on behavior.

I can’t remember everything but I remember a certain scene where they are getting introduced to the rules of the society and are given the example that by doing good deeds up warm points, our money. For example, watering a plant gives you a point.

The whole society was rigged so it was almost impossible for the poor to truly earn points. And the poor lived below the rich where everything was so dense they didn’t get sunlight. Meanwhile the rich lived higher up and had beautiful buildings and sunlight.

All the points and information was seen in their head. Like it popped up by the plant that you can earn a point for watering it. Almost like a video game.

I know this isn’t much to go on but I had to try. It’s been driving me nuts!

I think I’ve seen something like this before! The whole 'earning points for good deeds' system sounds a bit like Gantz or Logan’s Run—though not exactly the same.
