DeeInBooks | 19 comments Hello everyone, I'm Dee!
I felt a bit awkward doing an introduction when I joined, but I see everyone doing it and it seems fun, so here I go.
I'm Czech, I'm currently doing my masters at uni, and I love fantasy, romantasy and cozy stories! As for queer books I haven't read many yet, since I got back into reading only recently, but it's something I want to expand on massively! I have started reading danmei and read all of MXTX's series, and I also want to collect more BL manga. However, I want to try every genre, especially nonfiction, so memoirs, self-help, educational books etc. The only thing I will not read is horrors and especially violent, gory books, as I'm squeamish about those things.
I'm looking for more book friends, because I have none in real life. I love seeing what others thought of certain books and getting recommendations. So let me know if you wanna be friends :)

mimi ☾ | 9 comments welcome dee! i'm currently getting my bachelors', and also trying to expand my taste!

i really enjoyed the memoir "in the dream house," which is about the author's experience in an emotionally abusive lesbian relationship. it's definitely a bit heavy though so i'd recommend looking up trigger warnings if you need.

Thank you! Best of luck with your studies as well :) Counseling sounds intriguing, what kind of things do you learn there?

That must be all so interesting! (Went through a very brief period where I was interested in being a therapist bcs the mind is very complex). It's so nice of you to want to help people like this :)
