Creating an alternate edition

I've been a Goodreads author for a while now, and I've read and re-read how to add an alternate edition of a book with a new cover, but I confess I am hesitant to try it myself. (The last time I attempted it, I made a mess that the wonderful librarians cleaned up for me.) Here's the link to my profile page:

The covers on five of my books have been updated. If a Librarian is willing to make these changes, I will provide my dashboard page and whatever links/files they need. If not, I could use some guidance in the process. Thanks so much!

Go to the page for edition with correct ASIN/ISBN, click on button with three dots to right of 'edit book details' and it will give the option, once ACE is created add the new cover.

Hi Martin,
For some reason, one of my titles gave me a "no validation" message and when I click on the three dots "create alternate cover edition" is not even an option. The other four updates went smoothly.

You can only create an alternate cover edition from the existing record with correct ASIN/ISBN, if there is no ASIN or ISBN it will not give the option.
