Introductions!

Anyway, I'm Andrew and I'm an English major over in Idaho. I love reading ANYTHING, especially stuff that actually makes me think a little bit. Right now I'm interning at a book publishing company and it's absolutely fascinating to me. I'm also interning as a sports writer. Love sports and everything about them.
I love to write and have fun. Hiking is good times. Anyway, if ya wanna get to know me, just give me a shout out. :)

I'm currently reading "Chronicle of a Death Foretold" by Marquez (not really by choice as I have to teach it in the fall) but I'm finding it a lot more interesting than I thought I would. Now hopefully I can get my students as excited about it when the school year starts...
I'm looking forward to getting to know people here, very excited to have found a group for the college-age. Anything else just ask :)

Resa, My boyfriend is from Missouri, around the Springfield area (then moved to Oklahoma for his PhD). Are you at Mizzou?

I love reading, it's definitely one of my favorite pastimes. I also enjoying chatting and doodling, and whatever. So hey! :D

My name is Ali, I'm a new member. I'm technically still in high school, but through the dual enrollment program in my county I've been able to start taking free college classes and they count as high school credits, too c:
My major is Social Welfare and I have dreams of becoming either a criminal prosecutor or specializing in family law. I live in Central Florida. (:

I have always loved to read, but with school a lot of my reading is those blasted textbooks. I run a movie & book club on Meetup.com here in the Cleveland area. At times even though i lead the book club...i do not read the books due to school. This year I am changing that. My husband will be working in CT this year and so on my drives out to see him, I will find the audiobook version of the books that my group is going to be reading. Thank goodness for audiobooks!
I love Amish Fiction, chick books, and some non-fiction if it is written correctly. I look forward to this group.

I love to read. It helps me to escape life sometimes and broadens my imagination. Anyway it's nice to meet people that read as much if not more than i do :D

I'm Minna, 19, from Atlanta. It certainly seems like I'm near the younger totem pole of this group. Our blog, Getting Lost in Words, is just getting out of the new stage and we are ready to come out of our shells. My fellow bloggers, Patch and Dexter, are definitely excited to be joining your group as well. We look forward to chatting with you all soon.

I will be studying Greek Mythology and Video Game Making.

My favorite books are young adult paranormal romance/fantasy :]
I am currently reading

I've never been in a book club before, but I'm quite excited to start discussing what I'm reading - I just start 'The Great Gatsby' for the first time so I'm looking forward the conversation about this month's book.

I don't really have a favorite genre. I really enjoyed Sherlock Holmes and Jane Austen. I'm contemplating reading Twilight just to know what the fuzz is about. Anyway, I'm really happy I found this website and this group. I think this will keep me motivated and keep reading!

I joined the group because it's about College Life! I want to find like-minded people and share thoughts about books, a passion in my life.
Because of school work, I can barely find time to read, which makes me sad. However, whenever I'm reading I'm blissfully happy.

Don't feel anxious about starting at 24. I was older than that when I went back. Also, just talked to one my professors from a few years back and she said she prefers the students that are 25 or older. She says they are more dedicated, and get more from the classes.
