Hadley (moneybagghad) | 9 comments i’m struggling to find a fantasy (stand alone or series) that holds my attention and gives me that “I have to know what happens so I’ll stay up all night” feeling. I liked ACOTAR, One Dark Window, Red Queen, The Cruel Prince…But I’m open to any type of fantasy, romance isn’t entirely required.

RECS!! What are your favs??

Classic fairy tales like Sleeping Beauty with a modern vibe. Enchantment

alva :• (alvadarell) | 46 comments i think you should check out uprooted by naomi novik, daughter of no worlds by carissa broadbent, of deeds most valiant by sarah k.l. wilson and sorcery of thorns (or any other book, really) by margaret rogerson. you could check out authors such as robin hobb, r. raeta and rebecca ross as well, if you'd like. i've enjoyed most of their books (at least out of those i've read). also, i have to recommend my favourite book of all time: the bear and the nightingale by katherine arden.
