Well...I'm still reading the Sword of Kaigon, so that one ;)
I am hoping to finish and get back to book 3 of the deed of Pakksenarion. I am more looking forward to this.

The Silmarillion was a very hard book for me to get through. Read it again? That's too much for me.

I def will! It came highly recommended by the parent of a student of mine. I have that one and the second of the series... I know there's supposed to be a third book but no one knows if/when it will get released?

It's been several years since my last read lol I think I last read it in high school? I will say I can definitely appreciate it more now than I did then haha

I read it in primary school. As I recall, I liked The Hobbit and LOTR better, although I was very impressed by the story of Melian and Thingol. It was a long time ago, though, so I can't tell you why now.

I was impressed by Akallabêth: The Downfall of Númenor, and even wrote my own version of the last days of Númenor. It was interesting to compare it to The Rings of Power TV series when it came out. I wrote mine in 2004. In my version, Miriel was the main character; she did not marry Pharazon, but fled to Middle-earth with her lover and came back to Númenor a few years later to fight with Pharazon and Sauron :)

She made a much better choice in your version than in Tolkien's original.
I did fanfics when I was a teen too, but I just drew something like manga and didn't really write my stories down. And I based them on other books, not stories about Middle-earth.

OOOO I love the sound of your version! And it is very interesting to compare what is written to the ROP show; finishing season 2 was what inspired me to reread the Silmarillion, because there were so many tiny things that had me questioning what was accurate vs. what wasn't lol
