I am hoping to finish and get back to book 3 of the deed of Pakksenarion. I am more looking forward to this.
I am looking forward to reading "The Name Of The Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss- I am trying to decide whether I will read that or reread the Silmarillion by JRR Tolkien this month (once I finish my current book of course)
I can’t wait to read Onyx Storm! I will be avoiding Goodreads when the book releases to avoid spoilers.

I read it in primary school. As I recall, I liked The Hobbit and LOTR better, although I was very impressed by the story of Melian and Thingol. It was a long time ago, though, so I can't tell you why now.

I was impressed by Akallabêth: The Downfall of Númenor, and even wrote my own version of the last days of Númenor. It was interesting to compare it to The Rings of Power TV series when it came out. I wrote mine in 2004. In my version, Miriel was the main character; she did not marry Pharazon, but fled to Middle-earth with her lover and came back to Númenor a few years later to fight with Pharazon and Sauron :)

I did fanfics when I was a teen too, but I just drew something like manga and didn't really write my stories down. And I based them on other books, not stories about Middle-earth.

OOOO I love the sound of your version! And it is very interesting to compare what is written to the ROP show; finishing season 2 was what inspired me to reread the Silmarillion, because there were so many tiny things that had me questioning what was accurate vs. what wasn't lol
