I managed 77 in 2024, but I think I'm being overly ambitious with 80 as my goal in 2025 - it's going to be a big year full of changes.
tbh i don't wanna stress myself. last year i got 42 books but my goal was too high, so this year imma set it to 25 books for now
Last yeah I laughed at multiple people for setting their goal at 100 books. I owe them all an apology because this year I've set mine to 100 books :D Buying a Kindle as well as an Audible subscription really helped me ramp up my reading last year so I think I can do it.
last year i started a new job so i only get to 28 books, hope this year do more like 35 to 40, but we'll see hahaha
I did 72/40 last year. I plan on reading 75 books this year
I'm trying to get back into reading so my goals for the past couple of years have been very low compared to you guys but I hope to get to atleast 15. I have it set for 7 right now but last year did 11 out of 6. I was thinking of getting a kindle but I also thought about using my local public library to see if they have any good reads! I hit 240 in 2024. I’ve set my 2025 goal at 250.
last year I read 64 out of 61 this year I plan on 64!
my initial plan was 36 books but i got a bunch of audiobooks purchased so i pushed it to 45 but i aim to go back to reading more paperbacks than eBooks and audios so i lowered my goal for this year
I read 202 last year but have set a smaller goal this year (150) as I want to read longer books and some classics which can often take a bit longer than the thrillers/crime fiction I usually read
I set my goal to 60 which I just hit last year. Hoping to adjust up if I can!

Last year I read 28 books so I put my goal on 45 books this year.
I will try to read 50 books this year, probably read about that many last year.
I'm planning on reading 200 books this year even though I read under 150 last year. My hubris will be my undoing.
I did mine differently than I usually do because I have a long backlist of physical and Kindle books. I'm doing 25 in 25 prompts for that. I'm also trying to diversify my reading so I'm reading 1 of the 20 nominated/winners for each of the 2024 Goodreads Awards categories. My numbers goal I just did 50 to round up from the 42 prompt reads.
I'm aiming for 30 books this year, but now that I'm including audio books in my reading goal I'm sure I'll surpass it. I've already listened to 2 audio books this year and it's only January 3rd. Going to probably listen to another one today while doing laundry. :P

I've set mine to 250 this year. Much less than last year because I don't think I can do what I did in 2024.
I listed my challenge goal as very low this year. Last year, there were almost 200 books (194), but I want to achieve 120 this year.
I had a goal of 75 last year and only made it to 60. This year, I set my goal to 55.
100 but I’ll probably read more I just don’t wanna let myself down if I don’t get more than that and don’t beat a higher challenge lol
I will try to 60 book this year. I did 48 for last year hopefully I don't get any reading slumps. =)
Have we always been able to change the goal in GR? I'm glad either way, life happens. Set the bar high!

50. My goal was 30, I read 46 and almost finished 47. I had a great reading year last year, which was helped by the fact I chose a theme for last year that brought me a lot of great books, including a series with 11 books❣️
Last year was 20 barely managed that so I gave myself 25 this year. 😜 Trying to read more and procrastinate less.
in 2024 my goal was 24 and ended up reading more than 50 books. For this year the goal is 25, hoping to surpass it like last year, but i might have jinxed it because my 2025 is starting in a reading slump
50! I read 75 last year. I need to tackle a few long books!
I set my goal really high for 2024 because I read so much in 2023…BUT I didn’t factor in that in 2023 I was unemployed for awhile so I had more time. I didn’t make it to my goal in 2024 so this year I’ve set it at 100.
I did 85/85 last year but literally finished at 10p on NYE so I just added one more for 86 this year
I've read 137 last year but this year won't have much time so 100
52! It was my goal last year but family passing and medical hardships really threw me off the wagon. I’m determined this year though to stay committed to my reading time. 😄
I read 114 books last year. I set my goal to read 120 books this year.
Only 35 this year. Last year I was one book shy of my 40 goal.

40 but I'm honestly not going to stress over it. I will change it if I think I am not going to make it.
130 books, new authors, and reading beyond my comfort zone.
I had a massive reading (listening) goal last year. This year i went significantly smaller. If I keep picking books over 1,000 pages all year I'll never make it.
My goal is to read something that riles me out of my reading slump, does anyone have any recs? Send help. Reading belladonna, just finished reckless and I miss being so into something that I can't stop thinking about it!
