It has 4 comments, including one by bamf, which mirrors my exact sentiments, that was posted 6-7 years ago...
I'm not sure if I wrote that comment 6-7 years ago, lol... the username bamf isn't one I normally use online, but IS the beginning of several characters I made in World of Warcraft over the years...
BAMF being the sound effect of Nightcrawler's teleporting in X-Men and the acronym for Bad Ass MFer (or, in my case Bad Ass M Fing P(aladin) / D(eath) K(night), etc...

The more I read random comments about the revival/etc, the less I want to put myself through re-reading the series that I know will annoy me most of the time...

Hmm I'm not sure I should continue then... Seems like its too annoying to be worth it for me, especially since I'll have to prioritize soon. Ah well, maybe one day I'll read these ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I toughed them out so hard in 2013, reading 11 of them... and I rated them 4/4/4, 4/4/3, 3/3/3, 2/2... I rated them at the end of the year, it was my first year using Goodreads and I quickly fell behind on ratings... I just said I read everything 12/29/13, and was going off memory/general vibes, so my ratings might be inaccurate, but I generally liked the early books when I trusted the author/relationship, then when everything started shifting to the new paradigm I keep mentioning in series spoiler tags, my ratings went downhill from books 6-9 and 10+... I finally abandoned after book 11, and revisited the series a year later in the Fall of 2014...
I rated the last 2 books 4 stars and 2 stars... (view spoiler) and I basically hated the finale like I'd hated the trajectory of the series in 2013...
I've been very vocal about this, but am trying to not color Nyssa & Nirkatze' enjoyment by my own disappointment...

Narrator matters a whole lot to me. It can ruin a whole book! I was also not vibing with with this narrator...
The narrator reminds me of the Stephanie Plum narrator. I had to look up if she was the same. She wasn't.

Marguerite Gavin is a narrator name that sounds familiar, tho, so I swear there must be something else, outside of SF/Fantasy/Mystery/Thriller that I've heard before (other than the fact I listened to Hollows 12-13 back in 2014 at 1x speed...

Paused on Stone of Farewell, and now I'm going off-script completely, apparently... I definitely know how to take wild swings, from 4 easy books one day to no 1 official BR and offscript the next...

Book 2 opens with a caller that wants to be a were-alpaca because of these dreams he's been having about eating grass in South America :D
Through Ch. 10... Ivy and Jenks are awesome!
Through Ch. 19... I am totally shipping Ivy and Rachel, but I don't believe that would ever happen... I agree with you guys, Rachel should stop acting the way she does towards her, it's kind of insulting... Otherwise, I am actually enjoying it 🙂
Finished. I had fun with it. We need some fluff once in a while... Life is too serious... Rachel is an airhead, but she is not stupid. She is a tad emotional and trying to figure her life out, but she is OK... Ivy is way too intense, but I think that comes with her being a genetic vampire. Trent seems to be the lowest of the low, but I wonder (view spoiler)Going to jump into the next one right away. Trying to catch up 🙂

It's the definition of an experience book... really immerses you in the story, visually... but yea, even knowing how many puzzles and shenanigans are hidden in the text, I have little desire to ever revisit/re-read...
