Oh, bummer, Clare.😢 I wish I could say the kindle edition was on sale, but I looked yesterday, and it was $8. Can you request your library to buy it? My library isn’t very good about that, but other libraries are.

No, I couldn't even find much less reguest them to buy. I would type in the title and the author, but the only thing it would show was baywatch🤣🤷🏽‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Clare, to request it you don't search the catalogue, there should be a place on the library website, or you could do it in person, to put in an author's name and the book title, and what format you want it in. At least that's how my library works.

@Angela, yes! There are tons of other titles with the word “swift” in them, including a lot of Taylor Swift stuff.😅

I am actually surprised that my library has it since it seems so many others don’t. They aren’t good about shelving books from smaller publishers, much less publishers with Christian morals. I really didn’t expect this book to be hard to get.🤷‍♀️

I have definitely wanted it to get chosen for a while now, but if most people won’t be able to get it, it won’t be nearly as much fun.😢

🚨🚨 Hi guys! So a new rule we added is that IF YOU PARTICIPATE IN THE BOTM YOU GET TO ADD +30 POINTS TO THE ADDITIONAL OG SCORING.

So for this month, since swift was the winner, it would normally be 20 points, but with the additional 30 points it’s now 50 POINTS!!

We hope this increases motivation/participation in the botm! Lemme know if you guys have any questions! 🚨🚨

That's a bummer that Hoopla isn't compatible with Kindle. I can only get audiobooks from Hoopla, so I never noticed.

I was happy to see my library carried it, but only on Hoopla. It's funny how the different library apps have different books..

As far as the library apps go, it just depends on which books (ebooks or audio) that your library purchases and makes available on those apps. And how many licenses they purchase. My huge library only bought 2 licenses for Wind and Truth, which meant a very long wait for those who didn’t jump to get in line as soon as it was available. I jumped the moment I got the notification that it was available, and I was still 12th in line.

@Tori— for this thread, you can make comments as you go, just be careful of spoilers for readers who are behind you. For the Questions thread, you wait to do the question until after you finish the book. The Activities thread is unique in that it depends on what activity you do. You can do the fan art, playlists, etc before you are done, but the review would be after you finish. You can just link your review, you don’t have to write it in that post. I think I already linked mine, so you should be able to see how I did it. I am so glad you joined in!😍
