Really looking forward to reading this. Love Me Whole was such a difficult read but also such an excellent one. Also loved Clashing Hearts

I really enjoyed the Valor and Doyle Mysteries.
So I'm looking forward trying another series from her.

Love me whole absolutely destroyed me in the best way. I kind of forgot about it till now. I do like Nicky James as an author so I am also looking forward to reading this book.

That was lovely in the moment. Unfortunately it's not super memorable.

I enjoyed the whole thing. But it didn't grab me and make me want to read the whole series.

You instinctively knew 100% right off that Killan's back story was a misunderstanding. Can't believe he didn't even check in all those years.

Pretty much the same with Leo. I understood why he panicked. But he probably should have done a little follow up.

I did like how the characters travelled around hopping trains, more out of the love of doing it, rather than for nefarious reasons. I enjoyed all the other characters. I do wonder about how things will go for them.

Leo with the happy meals was adorable. Collecting the transformers.
Killian rescuing Leo and accepting him so quickly was sweet. He wasn't as distrustful as the others. But then, they really didn't take long to warm up to Leo. Basically just the first jump.

I wish I documented the emotional up and downs as I read this book, but I was super busy when I was reading it.

From the first chapter we were thrown into the story and I wanted the backstory. I was confused and then we began to get into the background and things made sense.

It was a little wild they welcomed Leo in and started teaching him the ways, but also so cute how fast Killian fell for him.

Leo and Killian's story are similar in important ways but also Leo has gone through so much because he didn't trust his father.

I absolutely fell in love with Tyler, Willow, and Dodger. They had such small but vital roles in the story.

OMG, when the cops came and arrested Killian and Leo was sooooo sick. I could not breathe during those chapters.

I absolutely loved the way Leo stood up to his dad in the end. Killian stayed behind and the way Leo surprised him was amazing.

And the full circle for Killian with his parents was nice to see as well.

I will definitely be continuing with the series. I want to read about Tyler and Elian

I also want to read Tyler and Elian's story.

I really loved this book, mostly because I've never read about freight hoppers before, so it was like a new adventure for me.
