I’m in San Francisco, and I could go SW or SE, but South gives me no options. (Antarctica is SE, and I’ve been there often enough.)

I wondered about that. You could go south to Half Moon Bay and though it is not directly south Monterey (it isn't SE yet) and read a Steinbeck

South is good as I am in Minnesota. I have a lot of room. Right this minute I am concentrating on my last read for 3rd PH list

Oh, that wasn’t even on my radar. I do want to read East of Eden but I pictured it in the Midwest. I just tagged it california for future reference.

I’ve been trying to get to Vietnam all year to read The Mountain in the Sea. I could have gone there last week (w] but I had to put it on a new hold, and it wasn’t ready yet. Now it’s here so that made the decision for me. I’m using a Free Ticket to go West to Vietnam.

Nancy, Easter Island (Rapa Nui) (which belongs to Chile) is approximately South of San Francisco. Just a consideration.

My spin for N was perfect. I had to read The Frozen River for my F2F book group this month and Hallowell, ME was due north of Tierra del Fuego. So my quickest turn around for this game. And a great position for my last direction to complete my list. I can go anywhere.

Cool! I really like this series and I'm looking forward to the next one coming out. It sat on my shelf for a couple of years before I read it and I was pleasantly surprised.

I think I'm going to go for a new spin. My direction takes me to Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, and I think none of my books are going to take me there. Its probably time to start using my free passes... But since its a Tuesday, I just thought (two or three weeks later - maybe see if I get a good direction? London would be nice. Can I intentionalize the Northeast?

Oh geez! Our spin machine is determined to get me to Canada, only this time it got very nasty. From Portugal, going NW, I end up in the Canadian Arctic. I will most likely sit the week out.
