Hey! This is my first ever Buddy Read and it seems fun! Also I've been collecting the Scarpetta series for a long time and just haven't gotten around to reading them. I'm excited to be here because it motivates me to continue reading them and ironically the next up for me is All that Remains. I've enjoyed the first couple of the series so far.

Good morning, I started All that Remains last night and I'm enjoying the story so far.

(view spoiler)[ There were times that I didn't like Kay. Her relationship with Mark is just plain toxic. I like the friendship/work relationship she has with Marino, they may bicker but they get the job done and even have dinner together and they are more comfortable with their personal life.

The death of Abby caught me off guard, didn't expect that. I wish that they had more time being friends.

I am not able to listen to audiobook without reading the book at the same time. And then I found the audio is too slow! 🤣

Finished yesterday. I really enjoyed this one, and the resolution was fascinating! I agree with your thoughts about Key and her relationships with Mark and Marino, Dominque!

I'm really looking forward to the next Scarpetta novel...I've had all these books for so long, can't believe it's taken me years to start reading them.

Oops… I just realized I forgot to share my thoughts after finishing the book! Apologies for that. I completely agree with Dominique’s comments—(view spoiler)[ Kay and Mark’s relationship is far from healthy and certainly won’t lead to happiness for Kay. I really hope she comes to her senses soon, as I’d rather not read too many more stories centered on this dynamic.

The ending took me by surprise, though, which was a nice touch. (hide spoiler)] Overall, I’d say this is a strong addition to the series.
