need help linking book to series

I tried to link Adele Abbott's book Witch Is The Nest Now Empty (which is #49) to the series, but I did it wrong and somehow made a new series that says something like "A Witch P.I. Mystery #49 #49", which of course was not what I intended. I may also have inadvertently come up with a new series entirely while trying to fix it. If someone could fix those, that would be great. Is there somewhere where I can see the steps on how to add a book to a series? I don't do this stuff often enough to know what I'm doing, but would like to be better at it so I don't mess up. Feel free to send me info in a message if that would be easier. Thanks much!!!

If you need instructions on how to do something use 'help' button at bottom left of page.
