I finished The God of the Woods, which was great. I have started The Last Murder at the End of the World, which started out really weird, but is starting to get some interesting parts now. I'm hoping it continues to get better as it goes along.
Just started “The Toll”, third book in the “Art of a Scythe” trilogy! Loved the first two, excited for this one

Since my last update I finished The Last Murder at the End of the World, which was ok. I thought the storyline was good, but it just never really drew me in. 3★Finally, I just finished Great Big Beautiful Life, which I thought was great. 5★
I'm now listening to Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls and I'm about halfway through. I've seen the show, but didn't follow it. The memoir has been mostly fun so far.

Action-Filled, Fast Romance, Well-Developed Characters

I wanted a few more details wrapped up cleanly at the end.
I finished Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls. It was good, but it was kind of like listening to a person with ADHD tell a long story. I just started Never Name the Dead.

Mystery / Police Procedural, but so much more
1st book in the Casey Duncan / Rockton series.
This is a favorite series in one of my discussion groups. I first heard of this series when book seven was released. I read it as well as the books that have been released in the Haven’s Rock spin-off series. I am now going back and reading the first 6 books in the series.
It was great to get Casey’s full backstory in this one. I also enjoyed watching Casey and Rockton Sheriff Eric Dalton get to know and respect each other and learn his backstory as well.
Complex characters, multiple mysteries, and excellent world-building are the backdrop for this well-written and entertaining novel set in an off-the-grid sanctuary town.

Cockatoo Cove by Maya Linnell https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I finished The Widows’ Guide to Murder and thought it was fun. I've started Say You'll Remember Me, which I'm enjoying. I hope I don't mix it up with Rules for Ruin at all because they are both romance genre. I usually try not to read similar books at the same time. These have very different characters and settings so hopefully I'll be ok.
I finished Say You'll Remember Me. I really enjoyed it. My review is here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...I have started The Busybody Book Club. It is another quick and easy read so far. I made it 30% through today.
