Join us for an exciting year of reading with the Book Quest Adventure! This themed reading challenge kicks off in January 2025 and runs through December 2025. It’s your chance to dive into diverse genres and themes while bonding with fellow book lovers! 🎉

🌟 Teams
• Team Up: Form a team of 5 members! You can request your teammates or be placed randomly. Just a heads-up: teams will be balanced based on your individual BPM (Books Per Month), so placement isn’t guaranteed.
• Reading Requirement: Each member must read a minimum of one book per month, with a maximum of 10 books per month allowed per member throughout the year.

Commitment Requirement
We understand that a year-long commitment may seem daunting. To make it more manageable, we've kept the reading requirements minimal, allowing us to enjoy the camaraderie without an overwhelming obligation. However, we kindly ask that you only sign up if you can commit to reading one book per month for the entire year. It's important to be considerate of your teammates, as mid-year dropouts can disrupt the group dynamic. While we understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, we appreciate your dedication to seeing the commitment through.

Each month features a unique theme, from "New Beginnings" in January to "Hope and Renewal" in December. Each theme includes specific reading tasks to spark your creativity and exploration! 🌈 Earn extra points by completing tasks, reading from the bonus monthly genre, and joining in discussions.

The max books you're allowed to read per month is 10, so higher than that isn't super relevant. I am more looking to make sure that people who ONLY read 1 or 2 per month aren't all together on a team.

Prinzess, et al! I am happy to make this team of 5 for you, BUT only if you are ok with everyone's BPMs being below half the max books. If you think you'll be at an unfair advantage, I can split you into 2 teams and add in some heavier readers to help balance.

You can read whatever genre you want as long as you can find a book to fit the task, but there are bonus points for reading different specific genres each month, along with other bonus opportunities!

Everyone is allowed up to 10 books per month, but in order to properly assign teams and possible bonuses, I need a reasonably accurate number of what you plan/usually read. So if you normally read 5 books a month, say 5.... if you read 10, that's fine. BUT if you normally read 5, don't say 3, because that will way throw it off.
