Salem Elizabeth (isalem) | 5 comments Need peer pressure to start this series. Tell me why I should or why I should not start it?

Cassandra 🍁☕️📚 (blondie2611) | 254 comments I think it’s definitely worth the read! Poppy is a bad ass FMC. I really like the MMC Hawke. The banter is great. The story is really interesting. I will say some of the banter gets repetitive at times further into the series.

Diana | 14 comments Tough one. I’m not done myself. 1 last book left for both FBAA and FAF series. Taking a break from the series.
Honestly, it’s very heavy and you need a lot of your brain cells when reading this. I would say give it a try or take it slow when committing to the series.
You’ll fall in love for the characters for sure but get ready to be confused most of the time 😂
Have fun reading!

I love her writing

Xe Reads | 10 comments I’m reading the series right now. The first three books were amazing and I really loved them and the writing. I just finished the fourth, and it just seemed really repetitive in the writing when it came to the conversations, Poppy‘s feelings, and the banter between her, Casteel and Kieran. I haven’t started the last book yet. I do think the stories really well as far as the plot it can get confusing on what’s happening and who is related to who and what God does this or that but all in all I do recommend it. I haven’t read, the flesh and fire series, which is what apparently you’re supposed to read in between to get more of a background of the gods that are mentioned throughout the series in from blood and ash.

The characters are great, funny FMC Poppy is bad ass. You’re insane if you don’t love the MMC Casteel
