Here's some of the stuff I wanted to read in 2025 - - Greenlights
- Kelly Bishop memoir
- The Women
- The Spellshop
- More Grady Hendrix
- Maybe ACOTAR
- Clan of the Cavebear
Do they fit anywhere?!
I'm wondering if this series (Books 2 onward) would satisfy space tourism? Is it tourism if there is an ELE (Extinction Level Event)?https://www.goodreads.com/series/1937...
Hey Deb!I bet the author of clan of the cave bear is the oldest author on your to be read list (she’s 88!) also the spell shop features magical creatures that aren’t dragons!

Horrorstor - one word (2015 list), 8
My Best friend's Exorcism - 18, 30 (if you had a best friend), 31 (kind of)
The Southern Bookclub ... - 18
The Final Girl Support Group - 28
How to Sell a Haunted House - 18, 30 (if you played with puppets or fought with a brother)
Witchcraft for Wardward Girls - 19
Any - 2 (can't remember the last sentence), 11, 15

Oh! I had no clue! Thank you

You are amazing! Thank you so much. I want to read all his books.
The Night CircusThe Starless Sea
These have both been on my TBR forever, and I'm determined to finally read them next year.
Deb - I forgot We Sold Our Souls I'm reading it this year and putting it under A book where music plays an integral part of the storyline
Alyssa wrote: "Just picked up Tomorrow, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow. Any ideas on what prompt I could use this for?"Yes! You can use it for one of the hardest prompts....a character in this book has chronic pain in his foot from an accident
Also found family and unlikely friendship

There is nothing resembling space tourism in the series.
They could work for nature is the antagonist
In the third book especially Elma and her husband don't live together during the book because they are in separate locations
Hello,I would really like to read :
Blue sisters by Coco mellors
There there by Tommy Orange
Evenings and weekends by Oisin McKenna
Table for two by Amor Towles
North Woods by Daniel Mason
Any ideas ? Thank you already
This is one I'm struggling to fit in anywhere other than books on the cover!https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Thanks, this is really helpful. I read the first book ages ago and was looking for an excuse to read the rest. :)
Jennifer wrote: "The Night CircusThe Starless Sea

The Starless Sea has a 24 year old main character, so you could do prompt 20, "a 2024 prompt challenge you want to redo." It could also work for 16 "a book set in or around a body of water" or 35 "a book centering LGBTQ+ characters that isn't about coming out."
I have Weyward by Emilia Hart sitting here waiting for me to read it. Any idea where it might fit? I don’t think it would be considered healing fiction.
Anyone know where Caraval series could fit? Or Throne of Glass series? Not the first book, that's my ai suggested one, but fitting in the rest of the series would be great.
Would Cruel Prince fit magical creatures that aren't dragons?
Thanks. :)

Thank you!!
To Jamie: i think that the Cruel prince would definitely work for the magical creature, that’s what i was planning to read for that prompt in fact but i’m no expert it is my first time trying the Sugarpop challenge ( sorry for my english it’s not my first language)
Jamie wrote: "Or Throne of Glass series? Some editions have silver lettering on the cover. Does your bucket list include sword fighting or horse riding?
Alyssa wrote: "Just picked up Tomorrow, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow. Any ideas on what prompt I could use this for?"If you redo a 2024 prompt, it would fill the video game prompt.
Marlis wrote: "I have Weyward by Emilia Hart sitting here waiting for me to read it. Any idea where it might fit? I don’t think it would be considered healing fiction."If you want to redo a 2024 prompt, I used Weyward for 'A book with a one-word title you had to look up in a dictionary '
Marlis wrote: "I have Weyward by Emilia Hart sitting here waiting for me to read it. Any idea where it might fit? I don’t think it would be considered healing fiction."It's a family saga, so does tell a story about an overlooked woman in history, as long as you're okay with the woman and history being fictional.
Thanks Ellie and Meme. Do they switch careers in the second book? I may use that for that one.
I don't have sword fighting or horse riding on my bucket list lol.
Marlis wrote: "I have Weyward by Emilia Hart sitting here waiting for me to read it. Any idea where it might fit? I don’t think it would be considered healing fiction."I'm planning on reading Weyward in 2025, and will use it for prompts 37/38, along with Blake Crouch's Wayward. It's the second book in his Wayward Pines series.
Jamie wrote: "Do they switch careers in the second book? I may use that for that one."It's been quite a while since I read them. Someone does start a "new job" in book two but I can't remember if it was different enough from "assassin" to be a career change now.

I'm going to read Kelly Bishop's for #34 author who is neurodivergent. She's dyslexic.
And Greenlights may work for last sentence? He ends the book with "Greenlights. Here's to catching more of them. Just keep livin."
hello! i reserved from my local library "Remarkably Bright Creatures" by Shelby van Pelt, for the 2024 prompt about animal pov, but i was waiting so long I've only gotten it now! other than the prompts about redoing a prompt from previous PS reading challenges, does anyone know if Remarkably Bright Creatures would fit any prompts for the 2025 challenge? thank you in advance :)

I haven't read it, but ... is Marcellus the octopus nonverbal, perhaps?

Sorry to ask again, but did i post this question wrong? ( sorry if i did, i have never been a member of a goodread group before ^^)
or is it just that no one have read those books? ( sorry also for my english it's not my first language)
This is more "just for fun" than "I NEED help" because I'm not actually planning to read all of these books, BUT I noticed that half of the Tournament of Books choices for 2025 fit easily into Popsugar categories, and I started wondering if I could find a category for each book?
The categories I've found:
All Fours menopause / Road trip
Great Expectations politician / same title
Headshot less than 250 pages
The History of Sound interconnected short stories
James body of water / roadtrip / unlikely friendship
Margo's Got Money Troubles happily single / chosen family (granted, one family member is her actual dad)
Orbital chosen family?
Rejection interconnected short stories
Someone Like Us road trip
The Wedding People luxury resort
The books I'm still trying to find a category for:
Beautyland
The Book Censor's Library
The Book of George
The Book of Love
Colored Television
The Extinction of Irena Rey
Liars
Martyr!

I've only read North Woods. I think you could say that the woods were a 'character ' in the book and use it for #46, 'book with a non-verbal character'. Otherwise, I would consider it for #20, 'a book from the 2024 list' and use it for the 2024 prompt 'A book with at least three points of view'.

I find it easier to respond when links are added.
That said, I haven't read any of these but looking at their shelves,
Blue Sisters - maybe #35 (LGBTQ character but not related to coming-out;
There There - maybe road trip (#12) as the characters travel to get to the Powwow or unlikely friendship #28?
Evenings and Weekends - maybe bucket list (#33) if you want to go to Ireland
Table for Two - #47 Interconnected short stories [shared setting]
Many of the prompts are personal...bucket list, last sentence, favorite 2015 prompt, chatbot recommend, 2024 favorite prompt, memories of childhood, book avoided, unread classic, and oldest author on TBR.

You posted correctly, but probably no one has read the books or no one can think of categories for them.
I've only read There There, and I've seen some people call it interconnected short stories, but it read like a novel to me so I would not use it for that category.

I'd really like to read The Ministry of Time this year, and I'm sure it'd fit on the list, but I'm not sure where. An unlikely friendship? an adult character changes careers? Somewhere else? Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
Nadine in NY wrote: "This is more "just for fun" than "I NEED help" because I'm not actually planning to read all of these books, BUT I noticed that half of the Tournament of Books choices for 2025 fit easily into Pops..."Beautyland could fill #24 A book with a happily single woman protagonist
Martyr could fill #35 A book centering LGBTQ+ characters that isn't about coming out
Or they could both fill the redo prompt for 2024 - a book published in a year ending in 24
Skye wrote: "I’m hoping I can stick “How to sell a Haunted House” by Grady Hendrix into one of these prompts but for the life of me I can’t see where!"I have a lot of Grady Hendrix on my list for 2025 because I loved reading How to Sell a Haunted House this year. You could use it for the AI prompt. If you've read any of his books, it's likely AI would recommend this book or if you like spooky stuff, I bet it would recommend it. You could also use it for the childhood prompt because it is about the main character's childhood home. There's siblings too, if you have a sibling.

This is such a sweet book! This definitely fits nonverbal character prompt #43. I would also consider this healing fiction for prompt #23. And prompt #16 set around a body of water.
Hello! I'm trying to fit Slow Dance by Rainbow Rowell in somewhere next year. Does anyone have any ideas?

It might work for left handed character.
The Spellshop would work for #18 - magical creatures - so would ACOTAR - also if you get further in ACOTAR - book 4 works for #36 silver Deb wrote: "Here's some of the stuff I wanted to read in 2025 -

Hey all, Intermezzo by Sally Rooney is on my TBR, so looking for a prompt that matches it. Any suggestions are welcome.
