I was so happy for the kids when they were finally able to go to school! But of course, it wasn’t a regular school. The nice teachers were overruled by the cruel ones. (I know a Vice Principal who hates how this job is portrayed in books and movies.). The nicest thing is that the kids had two friends - (triplets minus one). And this made them happy for the rest of series. Sorry, that’s not true. There are some hints about how the danger faced by the triplets will eventually change the character of the Boudelaires.
