Hiiii, I saw a tiktok that said “When the trope is a character's face being disfigured, and while everyone else gets startled at their appearance, their significant other still sees them as the most beautiful, breathtaking creature in the world.”

I was wondering if anyone knows romance books with this trope? Everyone was commenting fanfics or tv characters I NEED A BOOK WITH THIS TROPE desperately…pls I will love you forever…

The Man Who Laughs, Victor Hugo!
While the romance is not the main focus of this book, it has the same exact trope you described which made me tear up numerous times. 😭
I read it a very very long time ago, so I don’t remember how prominent the romance is, but I remember how emotional this book made me feel at the time. I would give it a chance. :)
