kaelyn | 36 comments I didn't read too many novels in 2024 but Violet Made of Thorns was so good!
Though I'm disappointed because it was supposed to be a duology and you can tell by the way the book ended that it was supposed to be a two part story split half and half between the books, but the author has stated that due to personal reasons she will not be writing the sequel.
The book itself has an ending that feels finished and tied together, but the overall story doesn't feel over. I would've loved to see the second book.
If you're looking for a true fantasy, fast paced read where something eventful happens every chapter, this is a good underrated read to look into. It was in an Owlcrate box.
