I must be going blind as I couldn't see the page count on Abebooks, but I did find it on World cat. Done. Please allow 20 minutes for the changes to display (much) longer if you are using the app.

It still says 300 on the main book page, but 286 when you look at all the editions. I'm assuming time will correct that.
According to the handbook you don't count Roman numerals; in this edition the introduction and index have Roman numerals. However, if I were to count those pages the count would be 310 pages.
Perhaps you made an exception for the Roman numeral introduction. If that's the case, it would work out to 300 pages.
I'm asking for you to change the page count to 286 if you don't count the Roman numeral introduction. The cardinal numbers end at 286.
If you want me to take a photo of the page or need any other information let me know. I can't check WorldCat at the moment; my connection speed is horrible.
