Hello James, thank you for the Thanksgiving well wishes and I wish you a belated 'Happy Thanksgiving!' You ask an interesting question about authors we're most thankful for. I'm thankful for everyone but specifically this year I'm thankful for authors that helped me to open my mind to consider more angles and viewpoints that I'd not already pondered. I'm thankful for Andy Weir, Hampton Sides, Diane Carlson Evans, Linda Van Devanter, and many more.
I don't read many thrillers (and I see it's already on your list) but I thought Riley Sager's Home Before Dark was pretty good.
Right back atcha! And one author I really loved was Michael Ende, a German author who wrote the Neverending Story, and yes there were movies too BTW, which were also good. But in the long run I must mention Martha Wells, Patricia C. Wrede, Patricia Briggs, Chloe Neill, Tanith Lee, Neal Shusterman, Walter Dean Myers, Rick Riordan, Mercedes Lackey, Anne Mccaffrey, Madeline Miller, Homer, Adele Geras, Seanan Mcguire, and Tamora Pierce.
