Personality: Frankie is upbeat and usually a nice, happy, lovable girl. But her kindness is usually mistaken for weakness so people tend to try to tell her what to do. If someone asks her to do something for no good reason or lies to her she will do it but in her own twisted way so needless to say she knows how to get revenge. She’s a huge overachiever and strong willed so when she wants to do something she does her best to get it done sometimes even goes a little overboard.
Frankie is quite smart despite her being a zombie especially when it comes to biology. Despite this she can miss very obvious signs, relationship wise but she can tell if someone is being kind or not, as well as sarcasm which being in an Academy doesn't help her at all. She can be quite clumsy so always prefers to work with someone when handling something fragile. She'll always help someone if they truly need it but will never ask for help herself.
Because of her altruistic behavior she won't tell others if something wrong is happening with her. This leads with her having depression
and won't ask for help and will often brush things off because of her strong willed mind. But despite her depression she doesn't let it interfere with her daily life despite it eating away at her.
History: Most of Frankie's past is unknown but she has claimed multiple times before to have been alive. Though she doesn't have any proof. Truth be told her history has been forgotten so the only person who knows it... Is her and Freind.

During her younger years, Olly spent her time with her human mother in their estate located in the rich valleys of Marseille, France. Her mother had not known what she would become and never gave it much thought until Tavia's first display of powers began to show. Afraid and threathened, Adeline Armani was left with no choice but to keep Olly locked away from the world where she taught herself many skills including her most treasured of sewing and sketching. Her mother gave her everything Tavia ever wanted except for companionship. At the first offer to send Olly to the Academy, her mother was more than willing and at the chance for a new experience, Tavia was ready to branch out and present herself in a place where she couldn't do much harm (Hopefully). From the start, they had disagreed with such teachings, but it wasn't until the age of nine he decided to do something about it and rebel. After sparing the life of a young European fisherman near the water's surface, not only was he punished by the tribe leaders but he was also left to fend for himself. Starving and in an attempt to find the young fisherman again, young Levi dared a trip to the surface. Coincidentally, the young man was there but now, with a larger ship. He and his men scoured the seas in search of the mysterious creature who had saved the man's life. He was soon spotted and, to his surprise, was not welcomed with open arms but instead was met with the searing pain of a sedated harpoon antler. Since the time of being captured, he was auctioned off for a variety of different...activities. Background

History: Maria was born to an ice fairy and a light fairy, along with her twin brother. Her and her brother received their abilities from their father, while their sister received her abilities from their mother. She had a pretty normal childhood growing up. She played with her siblings, would hang out with her friends, and loved going out in the forest collecting rocks. Her mother taught her to sew, cook, and clean, while her father taught her to speak both Spanish and French, as he was fluent in both languages. When she was 12, Maria's parents found out about the academy by researching. After reading about the school, her parents wanted her and her siblings to attend, learning about how great the education they would receive is. Two years later, she arrived at the school with her brother Emory, and has loved it ever since.

History: Irene was born to a light fairy and an ice fairy, inheriting her abilities from her mother. She is their only child that is an ice fairy, as her older twin siblings are light fairies like their father. Because of this, Irene and her mother have developed a close bond with each other. They would read stories together, have picnics, and even cook meals together. When she was eight, her mother tried helping her control her powers, although she didn't have much luck, and Irene struggled to control her powers properly. That was when her parents learned about the academy. Wanting Irene to have better control of her powers and wanting her and her siblings to get a good education, they sent her and her siblings to the academy.

Background

History: Zina's parents moved from Shanghai, China to Sydney, Australia, where she was born. Growing up, they exposed her and her brother to Chinese culture by having them watch Chinese movies and TV shows, helping them cook traditional Chinese dishes, and more. They also wanted their children to be fluent in Chinese, so Zina spent several hours studying the language, with her parents teaching her as well. Her brother always dreamed of working in Japan and owning his own business there. With Zina and their parents' support, he applied to several universities in Japan. Background

History: Avery is the daughter and only child of a king and queen in a kingdom populated by fairies. She was born a healthy baby. Even though she is a princess, Avery never bragged about it. She grew up like any other child. She would spend time with her friends, exploring the forest, and ride horses. Then one day, when she was 10 years old, Avery started getting sick. At first, she had mild symptoms, such as a headache and cough. But, over the weeks, it got progressively worse, and she didn't seem to get any better. Suddenly, a strange new symptom occurred. She had pain in her left ear, and she began to hear ringing from it. Concerned, her parents took her to the doctor. While they didn't know what illness Avery caught, they knew that it was causing her ear to be in pain and her hearing to be more muffled. It became severe enough that it resulted in the loss of hearing in Avery's left ear. Doctors were puzzled as to why it only effected her left ear, coming up with no explanation. Once she fully recovered, Avery was upset about the situation . She became embarrassed and insecure about herself, her hearing definitely not as good as before, being able to only hear with one ear, but was determined to make the best of it. Because of this, she taught herself ASL, picking it up pretty quickly. Despite being able to hear with her right ear, Avery relied heavily on ASL, but became frustrated that not many people understood her when she used it, so she would either speak or write down what she was trying to say. Her friends and parents supported her, helping her out in anyway they could. On her 14th birthday, Avery was invited to the academy. Although reluctant at first, her parents eventually agreed to let her attend. She still contacts her parents by writing letters and video chatting with them, knowing that they still worry about her.

How they got their power: Avery comes from a kingdom of fairies, so she was born with her powers.

Background

History: Tsuki was born in Tokyo, Japan. When she was born, her parents noticed the moon-shaped birthmark on her arm, which is how she got her name (Tsuki is the Japanese word for moon). Her mother was a professional pianist before she retired to focus on taking care of her family after Tsuki's younger sister was born. She taught Tsuki and her siblings how to play the piano, which she quickly fell in love with. Her mother also taught them how to cook and bake, learning various recipes from her. Tsuki was also close with her grandmother, who was an excellent knitter and made clothes. She taught Tsuki how to knit. Unfortunately, her grandmother fell ill with an unknown illness. After being sick for a few months, she passed away, leaving the family devastated. It particularly effected Tsuki. She would occasionally look through old photo albums, looking at pictures of her grandmother to remember the good memories she shared with her. One day, Tsuki applied to the academy when she found out about it through researching online. When she was accepted, she moved to the United States to attend the school.

Background

History: Riley was born to an American mother and a Japanese father in Los Angeles, California. Although born in Japan, her father and his family moved to England when he was little, where his younger siblings were born. Eventually, he moved to the United States, where he met her mother. As a child, Riley's parents have told her that her father is a Kitsune, as they didn't want to lie or keep secrets from her. But, she didn't she was since she didn't show signs of being a Kitsune until she was twelve years old. She always loved basketball, and even joined the girl's basketball team when she was in middle school. Despite her short height, Riley proved to be an excellent basketball player and a valuable member of her team. During this time, her powers began to be more noticeable. Because of this, she began to feel embarrassed and insecure about herself. Background

History: When Elizabeth was five years old, her family moved to Paris to be closer to family. While she was there, she met and fell in love with a boy named Willem. Originally from the Netherlands, his family moved to France when he was younger as well. They began to date, without Eliza knowing that he was a vampire. One day, Willem finally told her the truth about his heritage. While she was shocked, her feelings for him didn't change, until, without warning, he attacked and bit Eliza. Heartbroken and traumatized by the experience, she broke up with him, never seeing him again. Furious over the fact that she was now a vampire, she wanted nothing to do with Willem, getting rid of things associated with him, including his phone number and pictures of them together. Shortly after the incident, Eliza's family moved back to the United States, and was invited to attend the academy, which her parents agreed to.

History: Akari grew up in a small, rural village surrounded by mountains. She'd never met her father, and her mother, who her relationship was rocky with, remarried when she was six. She became the oldest of three half-siblings and she felt a deep responsibility to look after her them, perhaps because her father and mother hadn't done well doing that with her. When she was thirteen, her youngest brother, Kaiariseni, fell gravely ill and could not be treated effectively without money for medicine they simply didn’t have. Akari discovered a power that no one had anticipated-she was incredible at getting her hands on what people wanted most, simply nodding and walking away, and minutes later having it. She tried and trained with this magic, trying to get the specific medicine, but only getting simple treatments, no cures. She was out training one day, with her step-sister, Leiaraanema, who usually tried her best to help her, when a messenger ran up to them with the message that they were too late and that Kaiarieni had died. Akari was heart-broken, and moved to the school in an attempt to understand exactly who and what she is- and how to master her powers.

Appearance: A bipedal dragon with claws tipping her feet, hands and wings. She has black scales and is very good at blending into shadows. All of her scales are non-reflective which is an enormous contrast to her shiny purple, glowing eyes with thin black vertical pupils. She has sharp pointed pearly white teeth with matching claws. Keiko has small spikes trailing down her back starting at her forehead and ending at her tail tip. Her wings are large but easily concealed and she commonly has them under a cloak. Her wings are torn at the edges, but not enough to hinder her flight. She has a long, graceful tail. She has a shirt with rips in the back so that she can easily extend her wings at a moment's notice. Keiko has deep scars all over and a prominent one on the inside of her left hand. She is very skinny, and while she eats well now, anybody could tell she was gravely malnourished when she was younger, although she is still very graceful. She often wears dark colors, and especially a dark cloak that she's sentimentally attached to. Keiko has a magic silver ring with amethyst embedded in it that can be used to teleport her anywhere, as long as it's in view and/or she has been there many times. When Keiko is extremely angry, her spikes on her back, her wing membranes, and her eyes glow a bright purple ((Think Toothless)). Sometimes, she can purposefully make some of her scales glow purple as well as her eyes; she commonly uses this to startle people. Her scales are smooth and hard, and extremely protective, like she's wearing armor.
Personality: Keiko seems very bluntly mean when you first meet her, but eventually, she'll open up a bit and she'll still be a bit dead-panned, but will be more open overall. She does get weird and hysterical if she goes without sleep for long enough. She enjoys getting weird looks, although she's a bit introverted, so controversy commonly wars in her head. She doesn't like to be bothered by others, at this point automatically assuming they hate her and think she's a monster. Once you really get to know her, you'll see that she really just wants one friend. That's all she's searching for.
History: Grew up on her own, never knew her parents or even where she came from. She was seen by humans when she was seven, and attacked until she ran away. She now hates humans, and found her way to the school through dumb luck.

History: Helga is a scandinavian wood sprite. She has been around for a long time, protecting her forest. The forest is located in northern Sweden, the deepest parts still being undiscoverd by men. In the past she used show herself to only the humans she deemed worthy to wander further into the woods. But that was a long time ago, now she mostly keeps to herself far into the woods, hiding away from society. She got lonely, and that was when she found the Academy. She figured that she wouldn't have to hide from others with similar powers, and that trying couldn't hurt.

Looks: Helga is actually like, really old, but she looks 16. As she is a skogsrå she more or less looks the same age all the time. She is quite beautiful, her hair being long, wavy, and blonde, her eyes light blue, and her skin fair. But one way of telling that Helgs's not human is her hollowod out back, it's like an old tree. She is 5'4 and slim. She usually wears light dresses, but always with whole backs to cover the hole.

Personality: Helga is reserved and likes to be to herself, but doesn't mind a little company. She tries to be more talkative and be more visible, even tho she has spent most of her life in hiding. She has an incredibly good sense of who to trust and who to not, as that is literally in her job description. When she feels threatened or over stimulated she finds the closest tree, plant, animal, anything that has any kind of tie to nature really. It makes her feel safe and at home.
