Book cover to replace stand-in, please

Hello Librarian experts,

I'm doing my official cover reveal for this book tomorrow (Monday) and would like to update the stand-in cover (the navy one) with the actual cover the book will be publishing with.

Would you be able to do this for me? No other details about the book are changing (the book is yet to be published).

I'm a bit puzzled by the listing, is it a standard ebook or a Kindle edition through Amazon?

Hi Martin.

I'll be publishing the book in 2025 as both KDP ebook and will also be publishing as a paperback. The cover will be used for both. Does that answer your question?

Though, I've just looked at the book details to see what is puzzling... Is it the ASIN that's puzzling? I'm not sure where the ASIN has come from... I would have left that blank when setting up the book page as I don't have one of those yet...

Am I right to assume this ASIN could cause problems down the line? Can an ASIN be changed on Goodreads or is it locked in?

I have ISBNs that I own that I can apply to the book if something like that is needed?

What would you recommend I do?

The ASIN has been added directly from Amazon but when I search Amazon I cannot find the listing - maybe because I am in UK. Can you provide a link to the Amazon listing?
I need to establish which edition this represents before I can do anything with the cover.

Hi Martin. I'm in the UK too.

There currently is no Amazon listing because I haven't put the book up for pre-order. I won't be publishing until next year. I think what's happened is that when I added the details onto Goodreads and left the ISBN and ASIN blank, Goodreads must have auto-generated an ASIN.

I didn't realise Goodreads would do that when I left it blank.

I'm trying to find out now whether I'll be able to assign that ASIN Goodreads has generated to the book when I do set it up on Amazon...

I don't suppose you know whether there's a way of changing the Goodreads ASIN should I need to once I've published?

The ASIN was loaded by a bot from Amazon.
If there is no edition with that ASIN you should ask support to remove it (librarians cannot do this)

I cannot add a cover to issue showing that ASIN without a link to relevant Amazon item, that is why you should contact support.
