Melanie | 7 comments I've started reading the book. It's good so far, but I was a little sceptical for a bit. Anyone else?

I started yesterday, but was busy with work and didn't get far, so hopefully I'll get a bit further today!

Ok, I've made it over halfway - it's ... odd. There is a lot of action here and there, our "villain" seems easy to dislike, I would really like a bit more depth, but maybe I'm expecting too much....

I've been getting a little thrown off by the flashback/past narrative, but it does seem to be coming together now.

Overall, not bad so far.

Melanie | 7 comments I’m 40% in and although it’s holding my attention, some of the details are too unbelievable or too easy. It’s alright though.

Melanie | 7 comments I've nearly finished this now. I'm at 91%. I'm very iffy about it, but some things are good, and I do love Kate.

I finished last week, and didn't hate it, but it did get a little wild at the end!

Overall, it's a solid 3 stars, but I don't know if I would continue the series.

Melanie | 7 comments I finished this yesterday. It was only OK for me. (view spoiler) I loved Kate though, and it did hold my interest enough for me to finish the book.

I don't think I'll read the next book either, but I'm glad I read this one.
