How to be less jealous??

Okay so hear me out!
Rn I'm in a talking stage with this guy that I really like. Everything is fine, he's super cute and he cares about me. We've also been on our first date.
He lives on this little island where my best friend lives too but it's over 600 kilometers away from where I live. I go there three times a year so we'd definitely see each other often.
Today I found out that a few weeks before we met he used to have a crush on this girl. I talked to her a few times and she literally is so sweet. But now since I found out that he used to like her I got so jealous of her.
Do you have any advice??

don't be quick to assume. being jealous also comes with assumptions. he may have liked her in the past but he may not like her anymore. if you are curious just ask him what harm can be done from asking.

hey girly i completely understand what you're talking abt, me and this guy were talking and i used to always get jealous anytime he would talk to his ex but now i've been realizing that they're not together and there's a reason for that, sooooo anytime you feel jealous just try to remind your self that he likes you, he cares abt you, and he chose you. and that him and that girl aren't together and there's probably a reason for that
