Mr. James | 129 comments Greatest Works of Edgar Allan Poe

I have the above book; the page count is 543 pages. The copyright page reads:
Reprint 2022
FiNGERPRINT! CLASSICS
Trade Paperback
ISBN: 9789354401466
I want to add it to my current reading list; I utilize the footnotes in page progress. It helps for building reviews and finding content for high school students.

Tell me if there's anything else you need.

Thank you,
Mr. James

Mr. James | 129 comments This is frustrating. This addition isn't on WorldCat, and I'm having a difficult time locating it anywhere: even unreliable sources.

It figures it's the edition I own. I really want an accurate page count if I'm reading/working with it.

Mr. James | 129 comments Sorry to press, but I really want an accurate page count. Like I stated, I utilize the notes.

I uploaded three pictures of the book to my profile (the last three) if that helps.

1. Greatest Works of Edgar Allan Poe
2. Greatest Works of Edgar Allan Poe: Copyright Page
3. Greatest Works of Edgar Allan Poe: Last Page

Mr. James | 129 comments Is this a "no-go"?
Or "maybe"?
Or "working-on-it"?
Or "just go away already"?

I will be using this addition with students by Thursday. I won't post here again unless you respond.

Thank you.

Hi Mr James

Everything is very behind in this group - & we are volunteers. I am only up to the first.

Your patience will be appreciated.

Mr. James | 129 comments Thank you for responding; take as much time as you need. I just wanted to know if anyone saw this post, and if it would be (eventually) added.

I know you're volunteers. I've taken the librarian test twice and failed. Well, not failed, but what Goodreads considers a failure.

Regardless, I see how much activity you address. I hope to help shortly.

But I stress, no worries; I just wanted to know if my request had been looked at.

Thanks.

Sorry I am only up to the 7th/8th now.

& World Cat (which is where I confirm page counts) appears to be down.

But if you can just assure me that your count doesn't include advertising material, an extract from another book or blank pages right at the end I'll be happy to add this for you.

Carol She's So Novel꧁꧂ | 2331 comments & World cat is up & showing this one at 514 pages. Can you tell me what is on pages 515-543. Some things we count & some things we don't.

Mr. James | 129 comments Hi Carol,

I took a picture of the contents page and uploaded it. It's the second to last picture in my profile: Poe Contents Page. Sorry for the poor quality; it was taken with a Chromebook, but you can still make it out.

The last section has letters written by Poe.
515: To Evert A. Duyckinck
541: To Mrs. Maria Clemm
543: Third to last photo, showing where the letter to Mrs. Maria Clemm ends.
Thank you Carol She's So Novel (clever).

Thats ok - I think we would count all that.

Done. Please allow 20 minutes for the changes to display (much) longer if you are using the app.

To help volunteer librarians please add [done] or similar to the thread title. This is only possible in the desktop view.
