ohhh i just got my braces off but ice cream normally helps with the pain

1.) I ate lots of gum, it helps the gums adjust faster, it doesn't work immediately but it works faster than waiting.
2.) Using my hand to press against my mouth, it puts pressure on the teeth and personally it relived a lot of pain, temporarily.
3.) Good old pain relievers.
4.) Putting pressure on teeth using tongue.
Hope this helps.

But it’ll come back every 2 months when you get your wires changed 😀

Thanks for all the Tips!
I never heard of most of those Tips so thnx so much!

My problem Is that In a few weeks I'm gonna get surgery and they have to remove my Wisdom teeth and connect a Chain to my twelve year Molars to the Wire so Like as soon as I start Feeling better I am gonna have to start all over Again 😭
And they aren't Just Tighten my braces but also reel the Chain up to pull the tooth up every two months as well my mouth Is so screwed up T^T

I'll try but Idk how long I would be able to handle the taste

Yeah This Is my second Time as well
Tho before I only have braces In the front and I was a Little Kid

Aw thanks! I am honestly Dreading Having to get them Tightened so thanks for the moral support!

For food tho, I would say to eat soups and rlly soft bananas. Overall, eat soft foods and ice cream!
GLL w everything, the only thing I hated was getting them tightened bc the pain came back and gave me headaches 😔

two tylenol & one advil. my mom is a nurse (25+ years) and always recommended that because its what the hospital prescribes for over the counter pain meds that don't require prescription.
Eat soft foods & stretching your head/neck/jaw.

or Anbesol Maximum Strength Oral Pain Relief Gel, 0.33 oz
There are tons more out there.
hope you feel better.

Best of luck to you!
