Amazon isn't that good for dead tree page counts. Like publishers they are often estimates.

However, I have a question about this book. It is showing as having been published in 1900. Is that correct as World cat (our preferred source for checking page counts) shows this as being published in 2023. Which is correct?

Saying that, World cat doesn't give a page count for this one. But if you can assure me that your page count doesn't include advertising material, an extract from another book or blank pages right at the end I'll be happy to add this for you.

Hello,

This edition was published in 2023 as it is a compendium of different essays. The original essays were written in the 1900s.

About the number of pages, there are 170 pages: no ads, no extracts and no blank pages (counted).

It sounds like the original publication date may need changing as well, if this is the first time they have been published as a collection, but for now I have just corrected the publication date for this edition & used your page count.
