Locally we have a public library in the system that has a sun reading room and a reading patio with metal art and live succulent plants. It is well maintained, comfortable for reading and comfortable of a small outdoor party. I like reading outside during the cooler months.
I have a local library that I unfortunately have not explored much of, but it is within walking distance!! I have a BUNCH of little free libraries scattered throughout my neighborhood/city. and by BUNCH i mean, they are practically at every other house and on every corner!! I love the way people decorate them
Yes cozy can be good. We have cozy library near me too. It is located on a school campus, co-funded by local school system and the city
My sister lives in Massachusetts, and I love the main reading room at the Boston Public Library. Very impressive!
I haven't been inside my library since COVID. At that time I started doing audio and ebook check outs.My neighborhood library has nice memories for me because when my kids were little we went every week for years. They had storytime, events and friendly librarians. Those were good times!
So funny. I'm currently on a self-directed tour of the most beautiful libraries in the world. Saw two last week. One in Ulm and the other in Stuttgart Germany. The one in Stuttgart was very very cool. But the children's section of my local Boston Public Library branch, was in a former pool. You'd have to take these wright iron stairs to get down there. As a kid it was the most amazing place. It is why I love libraries to this day.
I am not crazy about the large library around here but it has a beautiful mural and gorgeous view with large windows - stunning outdoors, and has a nice local coffee shop in thereWe have a small local library and everyone is sweet there. They have a little seed bank collection free for the public
My town's main library is pretty small, but it's in easy walking distance for me, which I love. It's great to be able to pop in quick to pick up, drop off, or just have a quick browse. My favorite library is a few towns away and is bigger. I love browsing there because they have so many staff picks and different themed displays of books it makes browsing really fun.

Tell us about a favorite library. Does it have a picture window? A reading patio? Music Collection? Sunroom? Art collection? Something else of interest? Several things of interest?
