Do I need to read the Caraval series before reading Ouabh??

no, i’ve read OUABH but not caraval, they are not connected in any way as far as i know

I haven’t read either series but I’ve heard from others that you should read caraval before reading OUABH if you want to read caraval at some point. Because I’m pretty sure OUABH has some caraval spoilers, but if you only want to read OUABH you understand without reading caraval first. I hope this makes sense bc I feel like I’m rambling.

it’s not extremely necessary but it can put you in more context about one of the characters back story

it’s not necessary but i would recommend you read caraval before ouabh for more context bc i feel like ouabh paints donatella as a villain when she wasn’t. but yeah, to answer your question, no you do not have to read caraval to understand ouabh series, it just gives backstory!
