okay I'd recommend not starting with a series (but if you wanna then start with folk of the air or inheritance games) so you can try reading 'Five Survive' maybe, it's traumatizing, disturbing and nightmare-inducing. trust me, you won't be able to sleep for days hehe

Try "never lie by Freida McFadden"! That book had the most jaw-dropping plot twist. It's a fast paced psychological thriller.

I’d definitely recommend the Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. It’s a great series, and the chapters are really short, so it keeps you going, and if you’re into YA mystery + some romance, this book is irresistible.
