Jessica S | 690 comments Diane I'm so glad you added The Necromancer's Prisoner a few days ago. I've been dying to read it but it hasnt fit any challenges 😭 I'm enjoying it as much as I knew I would ☺️

Diane | 894 comments I think one of the authors I get weekly newsletters from (I have signed up for way too many!) had a whole list of necromancer books in honor of Halloween, so I went through and marked a bunch of them. So glad you found it!

Diane | 894 comments I am heading out soon for an overnight Spa visit with a couple of girlfriends. I will be able to read, but won't have my computer with me to post easily, so I am going to set up the completion post now, and then edit it using my phone. I hope that's OK.

Review: I love high fantasy in general but I was impressed with the world of Allaria. The singing crystals were a nice unique touch, and I loved that the some of the undead had the talents they had in life rather than all being mindless warriors.
Ignatius's story broke my heart and he definitely deserved a strong paladin to come and give him a home. The threat could have been a little more threatening, it kind of read as PG movie but really enjoyed this and can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Review:
I am sooo hooked on this series! This story picks up directly after the first book. But it gets wilder, and wilder. The action and the dark humor doesn’t stop. I haven’t laughed and grinned so hard in a long time. I’m still a big fan of Zee (fashionable demon extraordinaire), but I’m starting to warm up to Vampire Daddy, yet the mystery of Alex Vex continues.

Diane | 894 comments 'I hope you had a great time Diane! what kind of treatments did you get? I've never been to a spa but I do love a bit of pampering.'

Thanks Jessica, it was so relaxing. this place is all inclusive, so we got there at 2:00, changed into swimsuits and bathrobes, soaked in the hot tub, then had tea, then I had my first treatment which was and hour and half hot stone massage (I just love those). Got our rooms, had dinner, more time in the hot tub, then wine and chatting quite late, which was why I didn't get my book read!) This morning was breakfast a my second treatment which was a foot focus -- scrub and massage, then lunch. One of my friends had a shiatsu massage, and the other this whole body scrub and wrap. It's a very relaxing experience!

If there's ever a good reason for not getting a book read it's drinking wine with the girls. I'm glad you had an amazing time.

Please don't stress about reading! Not going to lie I was sweating a little bit there but don't want it to stop being fun and become a chore.

Review
Awesome! Each book is better than the last. I love the humor and I love laughing at their wild rollercoaster ride. Waiting for the threesome to happen still. It’s slowly burning hot between them all. Last book, we saw Daddy Vampire’s enemy vanquished, this time Zee’s. Will the next be Adam’s? A little more of Adam’s secret was leaked out, but the mystery still continues. And I’m thinking there is more to Tom Collins than we are lead to believe… This is a must read series!! Highly recommend

Review: This story is so beautifully written. Corbin is obviously neuro-diverse and everyone around him in his childhood failed him. When you really think about his illusions and why he has them, it's heartbreaking. Thank goodness he meets Alex. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Jessica S | 690 comments Shaz has asked for feedback on challenges and ideas for new ones (MM romance forum). I had an idea but want to see what you guys think.

It would be a team challenge where we are given a sentence/quote and together we need to read books that titles and maybe series names spell out that sentence. Every team member must read one book but people can read multiple if needed. it could either be a race like this one, so when you've completed your sentence/quote you get a new one to complete, or, there could be a choice of three sentences each round and the more difficult the sentence, the more points you get. What do you guys think?

If those work, then most of the series should be fine
